FYI

For those of you that have kids and let them brush their own teeth.... DON'T! I will admit I have been pretty lazy lately helping the kids brush their teeth and now we have a problem. Abigail went to the dentist yesterday and has five cavities. One of them is infected so she has to take 10 days of antibiotics and have the tooth pulled in a couple weeks. The other cavities will be filled within the next couple months. How bad of a mother do you think I feel like?

that is not your fault!!! my kids just went last week, and Jordan got her sealants in her 6 yr molars.
preemies are notorious for bad teeth, so I am so freaked out about it that I probably overcompensate. my girls have never had any, but that doesn't mean a thing. I think some people are just going to get them, regardless.

I agree. It doesn't make you a bad mom. You care about and love your kids. Participate in every aspect of their life (classic overachiever :) but we aren't perfect (no matter how hard we try). Drew had a couple too. I didn't have one until I was 30. Joel had a ton - they said he just had soft teeth. Who's to say :) If you were at the bar every night or bought yourself designer clothes while your kids didn't have food then you'd be a bad mom. YOU ARE A GREAT MOM!
