For the past couple weeks we've been trying to wean J.T. from his Blankie. It's actually been much easier than we thought.... the big thing was whether we'd be able to leave Blankie home when we went to Hawaii....
And we were successful! Thanks to Grandpa Charlie for "babysitting" Blankie....
I dug out a few pictures of J.T with his Blankie over the past couple years.

It's obviously something that is very special to him...who made it?
Congrats on the weaning though, that's great! I bought a super soft blankey for a friend of mine. It very quickly became Hailee's favorite, and it was always a struggle to get it away from her, even just to clean it!
Hey! I am VERY opinionated about blankies and I'll share mine with you... DON'T TAKE IT AWAY!!! I had mine (despite my parent's attempts to "wean me off of it") until after Shane and I were engaged, at which time I wrapped it up and gave it to my Mom for a Christmas gift. As a surprise, she had part of it sewn into my wedding dress for my "something old". My kids both have blankies and I will encourage them to take theirs off to college just like their mama did!!! Obviously, I was not so attached that I was able to leave it under my pillow when I attended class. ;-)
