I am struggling on what to give for end-of-the-year teacher gifts this year. Any ideas? I have 8 of them to buy between both kids so I can't spend a lot on each. I want to come up with some really creative idea. I prefer to give something consumable so it isn't just something collecting dust on a shelf. Suggestions????

A clipboard with scrapbook paper on it a ribbon. I have one and love it. The clipboards are only about $2.00 and the paper could match there classroom.
I LOVE caramel apples, but I know they're more of a fall treat. I eat them anytime I can get my hands on one! I especially love them with my grandma's caramel recipe. :) Very cute in a cellophane bag with a big bow.
Now you'll have to tell us what you come up with in the end!

Little potted plants like pansies. You can buy a six pack for next to nothing and small pots at the thrift store or pretty cheap at local nurseries.
They look cute on a teacher's desk or in the window.
As a bonus you can have your kids paint the pots to make them personal. And then the kid gets to feel part of the gift.
Those are neat ideas from Jacqueline, Samantha, and Kym. One of my favorites is Bath and Body Works pump soap with a pretty ribbon. You could add handmade cards from the kids & a picture of Abigail or J.T. on the front of the card.
The fact that you're getting teachers gifts is freaking adorable. I love gifts...no one loves high school teachers as much!
If I were to get a gift, I would love stuff like stamps or magnets...doesn't need to be expensive...I also love the other ideas (clip board and caramel apple...mmm...)
My friend just posted this on her blog for her child's teacher. It is really cute and I would love it as a teacher.

Dear Teacher,
We’ve had lots of "snickers" and laughs at school this year. I know you were "mint" to be my teacher and you have made such a difference in my life. I love you "beary" much and am so grateful for your patience and kindness. I hope you have a "whoppin" good time this summer break. You will always be remembered and “treasured”. I send you my love and hugs and "kisses."
My sister-in-law made the most wonderful dessert treat that looked really easy! You might have to search online for the details but they were like a cake lollipop. I know I know... apparently you can make a bouquet of these... you bake a cake and put the whole cake in a food processor once it's cooled. Then you add in some ready-made cream cheese frosting until the consistency can make a firm ball that you then stick with a candy stick (you know the hard paper ones inside lollipops). Then you melt chocolate, any kind and dip the cake balls in and let them harden and cool and decorate... they were a little mouthful of deliciousness and very unique. i had never seen them before.
I just bought some of those cake/cookie lollipop type desserts for my Mom at a kitchen shop in Ashland, Oregon. They were a bit bigger than a tootsie roll pop on a paper stick. Very pretty and very good! They were decorated like flowers and some like strawberries.
