Michela's name is pronounced "ma-kay-la." I believe the spelling that Mary and Jeff chose is the Italian spelling.
Michela went home from the hospital on Saturday and is doing well... I haven't been down to see them yet (which has been hard for me) but I will go this weekend. Be prepared for LOTS of photos when I get back...

I love her name! Michela is the first spelling I ever saw for the name some 40+ years ago. I met a Haley Rose today born at noon on September 25. Her parents are two of my former students. It gave me an idea of how very tiny Michela Rebecca must be. Can't wait to see more pictures of her and the family when you get down to visit her.
