1000th post- something profound?

I can hardly believe I have written 999 blog posts before this one. I feel like this one should be something profound, but it will just be a regular ol' post.

I really appreciate those of you that check in on a regular basis. I know my blogging hasn't been super consistent over the years.

Yesterday I celebrated my 37th birthday. I really don't feel that old. It seems like I celebrated for about a week. Sandi and I went to Reno for a little girls trip. We were there for 2 nights and we had a great time. I had to drive in the snow for the very first time to get there so that made the trip a little more interesting. We got home Thursday night. On Saturday night we went to the local casino with some friends and ended up at this dive bar called "The Palace." On Sunday morning, Andy took the 4 of us, my parents, and Pam and Charlie to breakfast at Hot Brew to celebrate. I had a great day relaxing and finished off my birthday celebration at the kids' 4-H spaghetti feed.

Now onto the next year of my life.....
