Distinguished Women of the Year (aka Junior Miss)

I had the honor of being asked to take photos of the Distinguished Women participants and also of the performance this past Friday.  What an awesome event!  I admire those girls that get up on stage and put in all that time.  Congrats to this year's winners Haley Dillard and Gwen Christiansen!

Branding #2 for 2013

We survived our biggest branding day of the year on Saturday.  It feels good to have that one done!  It was a beautiful day though...

This was weird!

On Friday, J.T.'s class took a field trip to the Wildlife Refuge.  While this may not seem all that weird to some, it was very weird for me.  You see, the Refuge used to be a working cattle ranch.... and it was where I grew up.  Very few things are still the same. I won't get into my feelings of disgust at some of what's been done there, but it was kinda cool to look around.  I haven't really been back since we moved, or at least since we took our cattle out. Here's a few pictures...
